Super 8 By Wyndham North Bay Motel

I had a real problem with the check-in process. The staff couldn't locate my reservation and had difficulty believing I had a pet until I pointed it out on the form. Plus, the noise from the room above was like a herd of Womp Rats, keeping me up early in the morning. Breakfast was adequate, but that area felt cramped, limiting the options for where to sit.

Immaculately clean room with exceptionally comfortable beds, good offer. The staff were both courteous and exceptional. The location of the property was unbeatable, close to restaurants lcbo grocery store etc.

The hotel is at 20 km distance from the airport.

Decent stay with pet-friendly options

I found the room to be quite spacious and accommodating, perfect since we had our dog with us. The kitchenette setup was handy. It had all the essentials for cooking a quick meal. Breakfast was satisfactory with eggs and a waffle maker, although the breakfast area felt a bit cramped. I was slightly disappointed with the check-in process, as there was confusion about our reservation, especially regarding our pet policy.

The place was modern and rooms here were good-sized and brand-new. We got a room with a tub. The breakfast was hot and included.

The staff were amiable, and the room was a nice size and well-equipped with comfy beds and a fridge, for instance. The location was beautiful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Eva Wardlaw Park. Food was GOOD and their restaurant was good.

As we remember, there was no pool.

The laminate flooring felt super clean. Having a fridge and microwave in the room made things easy. The breakfast setup is a bit cramped, but we snagged 'to-go' boxes without a hitch! Solid choice for the price.

Stunning and handy location - a short walk to everywhere we needed. This hotel was located in a good area. Having breakfast with eggs and bangers was a nice bonus.

The hotel location was incredible on Lakeshore.

1) Clean and tidy, friendly management, good breakfast selection

Everything was done in a very friendly and professional manner, and the staff were very willing to please each customer as their needs required.

The only thing I saw was, a customer came in to check into his room and there was no-one at the front desk. There wasnt a bell or something he could use to draw the attention of any staff which were in the area, he waited approx. 10 minutes.

The room was booked for a guest with mobility restrictions. When we arrived, we were given a room on the second floor. This is a 3 floor motel with absolutely NO elevator or other lifting device-only stairs. The management changed our room with a room on the first floor. The room appeared spartan. The heater in the room was very noisey. There were parts of the building that appeared unfinished. The staff that we saw were dressed very casually, did not appear to have proper business attire for their jobs.

Family with children might like it

I was impressed with the breakfast setup. The smell of eggs and homefries had me outta bed early. The staff were respectful. What more can you ask for?

It wasn't exactly what you'd call inexpensive, but for the experience I got, it was still acceptable.

The manager and staff were friendly and accommodating. We stayed as a family within a larger group for a wedding. We were able to get adjoining rooms. There was a traveler who needed to arrive late at night. We were able to have our needs accommodated. Thank you to the manager and his staff for helping make the wedding arrangements easy and enjoyable. Cathy
